All'inizio sembra quasi una base raggae, poi la canzone sfocia nel classico suono ghetto tech (quel suono che va tanto di moda ora) però con qualcosa in più, una melodia stupenda, degna dei migliori pezzi elettronici! Insomma un bel miscuglio di roba che son convinto vi farà impazzire! C'è anche un campionamento di una vecchia canzone di Switch. Insomma vi lascio all'ascolto! Enjoy!

Premetto che personalmente Boris Werner non mi è mai piaciuto, canzoni troppo visionarie e lente, ma con questo ultimo Ep si è ripreso alla grande, abbandonando tech e dub per dedicarsi a un suono più house e raffinato. E questa traccia ne è la conferma, ripetendo all'infinito un motivetto di una canzone vecchia (che in questo momento mi sfugge il titolo), e sprizzando allegria per tutta la durata della canzone. Lui e Massi DL sono le vere rivelazioni di questo periodo, in fatto di cambiamento radicale di stile. Scaricate questa canzone, ve lo consiglio!

Ora, con questo mash up, prima di averlo ascoltavo), pensavo potesse ridare nuova linfa vitale alla canzone di D.I.M, ormai datata e vecchiotta. Ebbene mi sbagliavo, il mash up con Dirty Disco non è che ci stia un granchè. Poi vabbè, è questione di gusti. Io ve lo posto qui, almeno avrete modo di sentirlo e di dare un giudizio anche voi! Non seguo molto i Japanese Popstars, semplicemente perche credo che di artisti validi più di loro ce ne siano una miriade, quindi mi limito solo ad ascoltare i loro pezzi nuovi, e niente più. Questa volta però è stato diverso. Già dal titolo la canzone mi incuriosiva. Primo ascolto: Wow! Secondo ascolto: Wooooooow! Terzo ascolto: Woooooooooooooooooooooooooow! E cosi a ruota per tutta la mattinata. Questa canzone è devastante. Stupenda all'inizio Jingle bells col suono distorto, e poi quando parte la cassa, li è devastante! Ve la consiglio a tutti. Credevo fosse morto (musicalmente), non vedendo ne remix ne produzioni per un bel pezzetto di tempo, invece Dennis Ferrer è vivo e vegeto e lo dimostra al meglio con questo pezzo uscito poco tempo fà di cui mi ero dimenticato di parlarne in questo blog. Rimedio all'errore facendolo ora. Allora, c'è da dire che questo disco è, a parer mio, in controtendenza con le produzioni di ultima generazione. Ok cestiniamo subito il disco..ma aspettate un attimo..stiamo parlando di Dennis Ferrer, un uomo che da 20 anni è sulla scena house mondiale. Impossibile abbia fallito, abbia sbagliato. Ascoltiamo il disco: melodia da viaggio, vecchio stile (sembra una vecchia base di una canzone dei Pastaboys, immaginatevi voi), archi, violini echeggiano per tutta la canzone. Goduria pura. Che stile, che eleganza. Dennis Ferrer non smette di farci sognare! Ancora lui. Un grande.

E se vi dicessi che questa canzone potrebbe diventare il nuovo tormentone dell'inverno voi ci credereste? Devo essere sincero, Massi DL aka Massimo Di Lena non mi è mai stato molto simpatico in quanto a produzioni e rmx, però ora la strada che stà prendendo secondo me è quella giusta: house bella e raffinata, canzoni curate, con un bel groove, dello stile vecchio neanche la minima traccia (meno male), e poi la cosa più importante che si può "assaporare" dalle nuove canzoni di Massimo (in particolare questa) è l'allegria, la voglia di festa, che ci accompagna per tutta la durata della canzone! Insomma il top del momento oserei dire! Buon ascolto! Dimenticavo, questa canzone è uscita su Cadenza proprio in questi giorni, quindi se vi piace, non dimenticate di comprare l'originale, Bye!

Per caso ho trovato questa canzone in giro per la rete, e mi ha colpito perchè praticamente è la canzone di Caspa - Where is my money, però rieditata e con un vocal diverso! Cosi è diventata Where's my monkey! Poi il vocal mi sa che è preso da una canzone vecchiotta, molto bello! Stupendo il verso della scimmia all'inizio!
